JENNIFER GARNER WANTS TRUMP TO HELP AMERICA’S IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN

Larry French/Getty Images

Jennifer Garner, a liberal-minded actress who supported Hillary Clinton in the last election, has voiced her desire to work with Donald Trump to help impoverished American children.  Garner has been a longtime early education advocate for poor children in places like the West Virginia community where she was raised.  Garner has been a board member of the Save the Children nonprofit organization for almost a decade, which has brought her to Washington, D.C. on many occasions to advocate for underprivileged rural areas.

This past weekend, Garner went to the White House to continue her efforts.  Garner has decided to put politics aside in favor of asking Trump for help, she told The Washington Post, “If he’s willing to help the poor kids who got him elected, then let’s do it.  They certainly think he’s going to.”  Garner said, “I’m looking forward to helping him make good on what they saw as promises, a mandate from him, that he was going to make their lives better.”

Garner said many politicians she has met claim they will help with childhood funding, but don’t follow through: “Everyone’s nodding and couldn’t agree more, and shaking your hand and want their picture.  But when the vote is cast, nobody’s out there screaming and yelling for poor kids.”  Garner continued, “Send me a ticket to Mar-a-Lago.  I’m ready to go down and have a steak and a good chat.  I really think it’s great, if [Trump]’s willing to help the poor kids who got him elected.”

Garner’s work with Save the Children includes urging Congress and state governments to “fund reading and literacy programs that include all-day kindergarten.”  Garner said, “You just wouldn’t believe the number of kids who have never heard a nursery rhyme.”

The Washington Post reported Garner’s activities in D.C. over the weekend: “The 44-year-old actress spent the weekend lobbying the town’s pillars of power to support early education for poor rural children.  She spent Friday on Capitol Hill meeting dozens of top staff members.  On Saturday, she delivered the keynote address before the annual National Governors Association winter meeting here.”  Garner also had a planned sit-down with Ivanka Trump, but it was canceled due to scheduling conflicts.  The actress looks forward to making the meeting happen sometime in the future.

CELEBS TWEET IN SUPPORT OF TRANSGENDERS AFTER TRUMP LIFTS BATHROOM PROTECTION LAWS

Jonathan Ernst/Reuters

Jonathan Ernst/Reuters

On Wednesday, the Donald Trump administration reversed Barack Obama’s federal protection laws that allowed transgender students to use whichever bathroom corresponds to their gender identity.  The White House explained Trump’s decision in a statement: "As President Trump has clearly stated, he believes policy regarding transgender bathrooms should be decided at the state level.  The joint decision made today by the Department of Justice and the Department of Education paves the way for an open and inclusive process to take place at the local level with input from parents, students, teachers and administrators."

The reversal sparked protests and angered several civil rights groups, such as the American Civil Liberties Union.  The LGBT project director for the ACLU, James Esseks, said: "Revoking the guidance shows that the president's promise to protect LGBT rights was just empty rhetoric.  But the bottom line is that this does not undo legal protections for trans students, and school districts can and must continue to protect them and all students from discrimination.  School districts that recognize that should continue doing the right thing; for the rest, we'll see them in court."

Obama’s decision to protect transgender rights in the bathroom had previously been celebrated among civil rights groups, including the ACLU.  The group wrote about Obama’s move: “This is a BIG deal – the federal government just made history and set clear standards to protect transgender people!”

Several celebrities took to Twitter to express their outrage at Trump revoking the protections, and show their support of the transgender community.  THE WANNA has gathered the reaction tweets below.

CELEBS TWEET OUT ABOUT THE LATEST TRAVEL BAN RULING!

Thomas Samson/AFP/Getty Images

Thomas Samson/AFP/Getty Images

On Thursday, a federal appeals court ruled against reinstating Donald Trump’s immigration ban.  The panel of three California-based judges refused to lift the block from a previous lower court ruling.  Trump’s executive order, signed in January, barred Syrian refugees and immigrants from the Muslim-majority countries of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the U.S.

The federal appeals court ruling did not sit well with Trump, who tweeted in response:

On Friday, Trump announced the White House will come up with new security measures next week and continue trying to lift the court's block on his order.  At a news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Trump said, "We will be doing something very rapidly having to do with additional security for our country.  You will be seeing that sometime next week."

Hollywood celebrities took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the court’s decision and react to Trump’s response tweet.  THE WANNA has compiled a list of celeb tweets below.

UNITED TALENT AGENCY CANCELS ANNUAL OSCARS PARTY TO PROTEST TRUMP’S IMMIGRATION BAN

REX/Shutterstock

REX/Shutterstock

On Wednesday, the United Talent Agency announced they canceled their annual Academy Awards party to protest Trump’s travel ban.  Instead, the UTA will donate $250,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union and the International Rescue Committee, as well as host a rally to support immigration.  The rally will take place on February 24th, two days before the Oscars, to “express the creative communities' growing concern with anti-immigrant sentiment in the United States.”  The UTA said the rally will aim to combat the “potential chilling effect on the global exchange of ideas and freedom of expression.”

UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer said in a letter to agency employees: “This is a moment that demands our generosity, awareness, and restlessness.  Our world is a better place for the free exchange of artists, ideas, and creative expression.  If our nation ceases to be the place where artists the world over can come to express themselves freely, then we cease, in my opinion, to be America.”

Trump’s travel ban affected the UTA personally since they represent Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, who is nominated this year in the Best Foreign Language Film category for “The Salesman.”  Farhadi has chosen to boycott the Oscars this year in protest of Trump’s order.  When contacted by the UTA about their decision, he responded with a text saying he was “honored and in tears.”

TRUMP’S TRAVEL BAN HINGES ON FEDERAL APPEALS COURT RULING

AP

AP

On Wednesday, Donald Trump criticized the Federal Appeals Court judges who will decide whether to reinstate Trump’s executive order on immigration.  The three judges are Judge William Canby, Judge Richard Clifton and Judge Michelle Friedland, from the California-based 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Trump spoke in front of the Major Cities Chiefs Association in Washington, D.C., and said of the Federal Appeals Court: “I don’t want to call a court biased, so I won’t call it biased.  Courts seem to be so political and it would be so great for our justice system if they could read a statement and do what’s right.”

Trump also read out a section of U.S. immigration law that he felt backed his immigration order, and insisted that the President has the authority to decide who enters the country.  Trump said that even “a bad high school student” could understand the immigration language and agree to reinstate his travel ban.  Trump continued, “I think it’s sad, I think it’s a sad day.  I think our security is at risk today.  And it will be at risk until such time that we are entitled and get what we are entitled to as citizens of this country.  We want security.”

Last Friday, Trump’s travel ban, which bars refugees from entering the U.S., and stops immigration from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen was halted by US District Judge James Robart.  Trump tweeted over the weekend in response to the ruling:

HOLLYWOOD CAN'T STOP TRUMP BUT SPRINGSTEEN, LAWRENCE AND MANY MORE CONTINUE TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE IMMIGRATION BAN!

Last week, Donald Trump signed an executive order, known as the “Muslim ban,” that barred refugees and people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.  Thousands of Americans have joined forces to protest the immigration ban since then, including a number of famous faces.  Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Lawrence, and Arnold Schwarzenegger are some of the celebrities who have spoken out or taken action against the ban.  THE WANNA has compiled a list of all the celebs who have made a stand against Trump’s immigration order below.

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen sent a strong political message at his recent concert in Adelaide, Australia.  On stage Springsteen addressed, “the Muslim ban and the detention of foreign Nationals and refugees.”  He continued: “America is a land of immigrants.  This is fundamentally un-American.  This is a song about immigrants.”  He then performed, “American Land,” to cheers from the crowd.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, which took a jab at the Trump administration:

Kal Penn

After a bigoted Twitter user told Kal Penn, “You don’t belong in this country,” Penn created a crowd-funding campaign to aid Syrian refugees in response to the hater.  Penn’s crowdrise page is called, “Donating to Syrian refugees in the name of the dude who said I don’t belong in America.”  The page states: “We are better than the hateful people who tell us we don't belong in our own country, that America can't be a beacon of freedom and hope for refugees from around the world. We will turn their bigotry, along with the President's, into love.”  So far, the fundraiser has raised over $750,000.

Sia

Sia pledged to match up to $100,000 in donations to the American Civil Liberties Union the day after Trump signed the immigration order.  Sia tweeted:

This prompted other celebrities to follow suit, including Rosie O’Donnell and Judd Apatow, who vowed to join Sia in her donations pledge.

Bella and Gigi Hadid

The Hadid sisters, both of Muslim descent, joined others on the streets of New York to protest the Muslim ban.  The duo held a sign that said, “We are all Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Atheists, Christians, Jews,” highlighting the letters that spell out the word “humans.”  Other celebs to join the Muslim ban protests include Ellen Page and Chloe Grace Moretz.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke out about Trump’s Muslim ban in an interview with Mario Lopez on Extra.  Schwarzenegger, who Trump recently mocked for his Celebrity Apprentice ratings on Twitter, discussed the way in which Trump went about creating the ban.  Schwarzenegger said, “I think the real problem is that it was vetted badly.  If they would run this by the Justice Department and Homeland Security and had the lawyers really study and focus on it and give it some time to do it the right way.”  He continued, “To go and ban people who have a green card, that means that the United States of America has given you permission to work here permanently and you are on the way to permanent citizenship.  I was in that position.  It’s crazy, it’s crazy and makes us look stupid when the White House is ill-prepared to put this kind of executive order out there.”

SAG WINNER, ACTOR MAHERSHALA ALI GIVES THE MOST MOVING AND GLOBAL MESSAGE OF THE NIGHT!

The 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards were held Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.  The SAG Awards followed in the wake of President Trump’s Muslim ban and executive order to practice “extreme vetting” upon immigrants and refugees entering the United States.  Many SAG Award-nominated celebrities were outraged by Trump’s actions, which led to an emotional and politically-charged night in Hollywood.

Mahershala Ali, who won for his supporting role in Moonlight, gave a personal and emotional speech about being a Muslim during Trump’s immigration ban.  In his speech, Ali explained how the film Moonlight teaches acceptance of those who are different instead of persecution.  Ali said, “I hope that we do a better job of that,” to the sounds of cheers and applause from the audience.  Ali continued to say how each person is unique and that we must accept each other, rather than “go to war.”  Ali revealed that his mother, an ordained minister, was not thrilled when he converted to Islam.  Ali said, “We put things to the side, and I’m able to see her, she’s able to see me.  We love each other, the love has grown, and that stuff is minutiae.  It’s not that important.”  You can watch the rest of Ali’s moving speech below.

Several other celebrities came to the SAG Awards with Trump’s immigration ban in mind.  Kerry Washington and Simon Helberg both showed up on the red carpet with visual protests of the Muslim ban.  Other celebrities who took the stage during the SAG Awards, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep), Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures), and David Harbour (Stranger Things) used the opportunity to address Trump’s actions and share poignant messages of unity.  THE WANNA has gathered some of the most moving and politically-minded moments of the 2017 SAG Awards below for you to enjoy.

5 SERIOUS CHANGES TRUMP HAS ALREADY EXECUTED IN OFFICE...HOW WILL IT EFFECT YOU?

Kevin Lamarque/Reuters

Kevin Lamarque/Reuters

On Friday, January 20th, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States and a week later he has already made several executive orders and serious changes to Barack Obama’s administration.  Several changes will have serious effects on Americans into the future.

Below are THE WANNA'S top five changes Trump executed his first week in office.  HOW WILL THEY EFFECT YOU?

1. Trump Signs Executive Order to Defund International Planned Parenthood

The Monday after his Inauguration, Trump signed an executive order cutting federal funds from organizations that support abortion around the world.  The policy is known as the Mexico City Policy, or Global Gag Rule, and it will stop funds going to overseas organizations that perform abortions.  Trump signed the order keeping in tradition with every Republican President after Ronald Reagan who signed it.

This caused outrage among many, who say that now even more women and babies will die as a result of seeking unsafe abortions overseas.  Many people have reacted on Twitter to a photo of the signing that shows several “men making decisions about women’s bodies.”  Check out some of the tweets here.

2. Trump’s Mexican Border Wall

Throughout his campaign and after his Election, Trump has promised to build a wall along the length of the Southern U.S. border with Mexico.  Trump announced his plans to make Mexico pay for the building of the wall, but Mexico’s President Enrique Pena Nieto refuses to acquiesce.  Tensions between the two leaders have grown as Nieto cancelled his planned meeting with Trump following Trump’s tweets directed at Nieto.

Now Trump has suggested a 20% import tax from Mexico and other trade countries, which means that Americans would actually pay for the wall’s construction.  The wall has been the source of much dispute and frustration among Americans.  Check out these tweets about how Americans have reacted to the wall plan so far.

3. Trump Suspends Mortgage Premium Rate Cut

The Trump administration halted a cut to the FHA insurance premium rate that Obama had announced in his final days as President.  The “mortgage-fee reduction” was meant to go into effect on January 27th, until Trump’s halt.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer asked Trump to reverse his suspension in his opening statement on the Senate floor: "What a terrible thing to do to American homeowners.  President Trump, with the flick of a pen, ended that new policy, making it harder for Americans of modest means to obtain their piece of the rock, the American dream – home ownership."

According to CNN Money, Trump’s suspension of the FHA cut could majorly affect the American housing market, and make it more difficult for those with “lower credit scores, or those who don't have the traditional 20% down payment in savings” in the future.

4. Trump Signs Two Executive Orders on Immigration

Trump signed two executive orders on Friday that will expand the military and enact “extreme vetting” of immigrants from "terror-plagued countries."  Limiting immigration was another huge campaign promise of Trump’s, and his actions aim to restrict all refugee and immigrant entry to the country.  The new order aims to, "keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States of America."  Trump also implemented a visa ban on people from Syria, and other Middle Eastern and African countries.

Trump’s stance on immigration has many Americans and people from other countries angry and scared.  Protests have erupted everywhere and human rights activists are in action.  Many people who want to come to the U.S. to live the “American Dream” are devastated and losing all hope.  One Washington-based non-profit organization, the National Iranian American Council, said, “Donald Trump is making good on the most shameful and discriminatory promises he made on the campaign trail.  He called for a Muslim ban and is now taking the first steps to implement one. This will not stand. The American people are better than this.”

5. Trump Attacks Celebrities

As The WANNA has discussed in previous posts such as "Celebs Speak Out," many Hollywood celebrities have protested against Trump’s Presidency.  Below are some of the celebs Trump has attacked during his time as President Elect.

During his first week in office Trump called Madonna “disgusting,” following her controversial Women’s March speech, and said her words were “disgraceful to our country.”

Trump has called out Alec Baldwin for his SNL portrayal on Twitter:

Trump attacked the entire cast of Hamilton after they addressed Mike Pence directly at a performance.  He tweeted that they were “rude” and should “Apologize!”

More recently, Trump called out Arnold Schwarzenneger on Twitter for his low Celebrity Apprentice ratings and for supporting Hillary Clinton:

Smith Cameron, Michael Urie, Moby, Mike Farrell, Loretta Swit, Richard Schiff, Christine Lahti, Steven Pasquale, Dominic Fumusa, Emily Tyra, and Talia Balsam.  Martin Sheen kicks off the video saying, “Republican voters of the Electoral College, this message is for you.”  Debra Messing says that Trump “lacks the necessary stability” to be President of the United States.  The celebs go on to urge the Electoral College members to vote for anyone other than Trump: “I’m not asking you to vote for Hillary Clinton…Any eligible person, no matter which party they belong to.”

The celebs then address the EC directly: “You have the position, the authority, and the opportunity to go down in the books as an American hero who changed the course of history.”

WHAT IF THE POPULAR VOTE WAS MAJORITY? SENATOR BARBARA BOXER SEEKS TO END ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Associated Press

Associated Press

One week after Donald Trump’s Presidential victory over Hillary Clinton, retiring California Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer filed Senate legislation that seeks to abolish the Electoral College.  Boxer took issue with Trump’s win since Clinton was shown to have won the popular vote by a margin of over one million votes.  Boxer said, “When all the ballots are counted, Hillary Clinton will have won the popular vote by a margin that could exceed two million votes, and she is on track to have received more votes than any other presidential candidate in history except Barack Obama…This is the only office in the land where you can get more votes and still lose the presidency.”

Twitter, @SenatorBoxer

Twitter, @SenatorBoxer

Boxer called the Electoral College an “outdated, undemocratic system that does not reflect our modern society.”  Boxer’s proposed bill would be an amendment to the Constitution, so it will be a long shot to pass in the heavily Republican Congress.  But that hasn’t stopped Senator Boxer from trying!

Boxer pulled out all the stops and called out Trump himself.  Boxer cited a couple of Trump’s tweets from 2012 where he called the Electoral College a “disaster.” Boxer used this to her advantage, saying, “I couldn't agree more. One person, one vote!”

Twitter, @realDonaldTrump

Boxer’s bill raises the question, what if the popular vote actually decided our President?

Before Donald Trump’s Presidential victory, many celebrities said they planned to leave the country should Trump win the Election.  Lena Dunham, Cher, Samuel L. Jackson, Bryan Cranston, Jon Stewart, Amy Schumer and other celebs expressed a desire to move to Canada, or elsewhere.

Over the weekend in West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, a street artist named Sabo created fake Sotheby’s realtor advertisements that seemingly encouraged these anti-Trump celebs to leave the country.  Sabo, who keeps his real name a secret, is a Los Angeles street artist who is known for his Conservative-minded, controversial works of art.  Each of his fake Sotheby’s ads contained a photo of Trump and one celebrity, including the country that celeb claimed they would choose to move to.

HILLARY CLINTON MAKES FINAL PUSH FOR VOTES WITH HELP FROM MADONNA, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND JON BON JOVI

Election Day, November 8th, is here people!  Americans are flocking to the polls to cast their ballots for the next U.S. President.  Throughout this presidential race, famous singers have taken the stage at various rallies and fundraisers in support of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, including Katy Perry, Beyonce, and Chance the Rapper.  On the final night before Election Day, Hillary got some major help from music legends Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and Madonna.

Monday night, Hillary held a last-minute rally at Independence Mall in Philadelphia, for a crowd of around 20,000 people.  Hillary was joined by her husband Bill Clinton, the Obamas, Bruce Springsteen, and Jon Bon Jovi.  Bon Jovi performed a live set for the rally crowd, including The Beatles’ “Here Comes The Sun.”  Bon Jovi then addressed the audience, saying, “I am voting for someone who sees my nieces as future leaders, and not objects to be rated.”

Next up, Springsteen performed his three songs, "Thunder Road," "Dancing in the Dark" and "Long Walk Home."  Springsteen had some choice words for Donald Trump: “This is a man whose vision is limited to little beyond himself, who has the profound lack of decency that would allow him to prioritize his own interests and ego before American democracy itself.  Somebody who would be willing to damage our long-cherished and admired system rather than look to himself for the reasons behind his own epic failure.  And that's unforgivable. Tomorrow, those ideas and that campaign is going down.”

Springsteen finished with, “Let's all do our part so we can look back on 2016 and say we stood with Hillary Clinton on the right side of history. That's why I'm standing here with you tonight, for the dream of a better America.”

Hillary also had some last-minute campaign help from Madonna.  The hugely famous singer took it upon herself to perform a surprise, acoustic concert in New York City’s Washington Square Park Monday night.  She sang, “Express Yourself,” “Like A Prayer,” and John Lennons’ “Imagine.”  After the performance, Madonna implored the audience to vote, saying, “Please come out tomorrow.  Vote with your heart, vote with your mind, vote with your spirit, vote with your soul.  Save this country, please.  Vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton!”

FISHER STEVENS, DIRECTOR OF “BEFORE THE FLOOD” STARRING, LEONARDO DICAPRIO ADMITS, "I'VE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF TRUMP!"

Oscar winner, LEONARDO DICAPRIO Executive Produced a Movie You Wanna Watch, "BEFORE THE FLOOD” which is a necessary look at how climate change affects the environment and what society can do to prevent its demise.  The compelling documentary was directed by actor, FISHER STEVENS and stars Oscar winner DiCaprio, who let’s be honest, could convince most fans to eat crickets if he said that would help save the world.

THE WANNA host, Gina Glickman Giordan, had a first look at “Before the Flood” and recently sat down with Fisher for an exclusive interview at Guild Hall on Main Street in East Hampton during the 2016 annual Hamptons International Film Festival.  It was three years ago when DiCaprio picked up the phone to ask Fisher if he would direct the film.  Fisher revealed, "It's been a long journey.  We went everywhere from Greenland, to the Arctic, to India, to China, to Sumatra, to Palau.  We went all around the world, figuring out- and then we interviewed, I mean there were a lot of people we interviewed that didn’t even make the film, that you didn’t even see, that are amazing people."   Fisher made a point to share that the only thing more important then getting the film made was the timing of the premiere which was crucial, "There's a presidential election coming up and it was important to Leo and I that we get this out before the election, because if somebody’s elected President, or certain people are elected in the Senate or certain people are elected into Congress that want to crush a lot of the work that President Obama is doing right now on trying to curb carbon emissions then, we’re all in deep trouble.  Not just in India and China, but all around."

Stevens revealed the details of why he agreed to take on the film, “When Leonardo asked me to make this film with him, I said, okay let’s go, we gotta keep it going, because it’s happening.  And we’re at this time in history of mankind, where we have to really start to change the way we get our power and live our lives.”  Stevens admitted, he wasn’t always friends with DiCaprio and describes how their movie making partnership was born, “We weren’t that close to be honest.  We knew each other for years but not that well.  We kind of bonded on a diving trip.  We went to the Galapagos Islands together and went diving.  I was filming Sylvia Earl, the marine biologist.  He was on the trip.  I didn’t know at that point his knowledge of environmental issues.  He knows more about species then most people.  He could tell you about a tiger or lion, things that you have no idea.  But also species that have been extinct.”  Stevens joked DiCaprio is so well educated on the topic and “can go on and on” that there was one scene Fisher says he was forced to cut Leonardo down for time, “Yeah, we trimmed that scene.”

There are several memorable movie moments in “Before the Flood” including when they went behind the scenes while Leonardo was filming his Oscar winning performance in “The Revenant.”  Fisher explains why going behind the scenes on “The Revenant,” was bittersweet and said, “It was sad but it was great for our film.  Yet, it was sad for the world that life is imitating art.  They had the warmest March in the history of that area in Canada.  All their snow melted.  So they had to go somewhere else to finish the film.”

In “Before the Flood,” DiCaprio sits down one on one to interview the Pope.  Stevens said working with the Vatican threw the crew a few surprises along the way, “Well, there’s a little secret there.  I was there, but I wasn’t allowed to film.  They took my camera.  We knew that.  So, the Pope has his own people- he had his own people to film that scene."  When you watch the film, you may notice how DiCaprio, greets Pope Francis and sounds a tad nervous.  That may be because twelve hours before DiCaprio was scheduled to interview the Pope  Fisher said that's when his team revealed another surprise, "You’ve gotta greet him in Italian" described Fisher. "But, we were there and that was pretty magical.”  In the film, DiCaprio recounts his memorable meeting with Pope Francis, “Being able to spend time and sit with the pope was a pretty profound experience.”  He goes on to reiterate what the pope said, “he feels we need to all keep speaking out” about climate change “as loud as we can.”  It's obvious by the final cut of the film that Stevens and DiCaprio also had a magical rapport working together.  DiCaprio was hands on through out the process of creating the film and brought "tons" of ideas to the post process, Fisher explained, "I mean in the editing room too he had a great idea.  The Pope scene, we moved it to the end, that was his idea.  Which was a great idea.  We were partners making the film."

Fisher admitted one of his biggest concerns about the upcoming election is electing a leader who agrees our environment is at great risk and mankind can help make a change.  You remember Trumps "locker room" behind the scenes banter with former, “Access Hollywood” host, Billy Bush?  Well, Fisher told us his reaction to Trumps remarks and said, "It didn’t surprise me.  I had problems with Donald Trump before he was even running for President.  As a New Yorker, because I lived in New York most of my life and to see his name and what he’s doing to these ugly buildings and you know his crass Trump everywhere.  It bugged me just like that.  I’ve never been a fan of Trump!”  Stevens and DiCaprio are both hoping "Before the Flood,” will convince Trump and the rest of the world, to change their beliefs on climate change!

In addition to watching the film and learning why it’s crucial to pass a carbon tax to help curb carbon emissions, Fisher says anyone can help do their part to make a change and help save the environment and said, “We can eat less meat, elect different leaders and we can start powering our world differently.”

“Before the Flood” is a Movie You Wanna Watch and premieres on The National Geographic Channel, October 30th, 9/8c.

If you miss the Sunday premiere, watch the film online until November 6th on Natgeotv.com video on demand (through MVPD set-top boxes), MVPD sites and apps, Nat Geo TV apps, iTunes, Hulu, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Sony PlayStation, GooglePlay and more.

CLINTON CELEBRATES HER 69TH BIRTHDAY, ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL IN SOUTH FLORIDA ALONGSIDE ADELE!

Adele played a concert in Miami, Florida Tuesday night at the American Airlines Arena, where Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance as an early birthday celebration.  Hillary spent all of Tuesday campaigning in south Florida.  Clinton had a packed schedule including, a Coconut Creek rally, her final Florida fundraiser in Pinecrest, and a stop at Univision’s Studios for an appearance on the El Gordo y la Flaca talk show.  Clinton’s supporters did not forget her birthday while she campaigned, though.  At the Coconut Creek rally, the crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to Hillary.  On the El Gordo y la Flaca talk show, Hillary was offered cookies and tequila shots.  She was also serenaded by singer Prince Royce, who had backup from a mariachi band.  After her special, but busy day, Hillary had the chance to unwind a little on the eve of her 69th birthday.  Hillary’s motorcade made a final stop at the American Airlines Arena, where Hillary attended Adele’s concert.

It’s no secret that Hillary is a huge fan of Adele.  Hillary said that Adele was her, “go-to voice,” in a SiriusXM interview back in March.  Clinton also added, “I have such a huge admiration for her skills, her abilities and her personality.”

Adele returned the compliment at her Tuesday concert when she confidently endorsed Clinton.  Adele took a break from singing to say, “I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton.  I love her, she’s amazing.”  It has not been confirmed whether or not Adele knew the Democratic nominee was in the audience.  Either way, Adele’s endorsement must have been a lovely birthday present for Hillary.

Adele didn’t stop at her praise of Hillary, though.  The singer took the opportunity to urge concert-goers not to vote for Donald Trump.  Adele said, “I’ve got to be honest with you, I’m really glad I’m not an American at the moment, it’s hard work.”  She continued, “I wouldn’t know what to do, I mean I do know what to do - don't vote for him, that's all I'm saying.”

Looks like Adele is officially on the #ImWithHer bandwagon!

Millions of Americans tuned into CNN last night to watch Clinton and Trump fight dirty during the final Presidential debate, at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.  The moderator, registered Democrat, Fox News Host, Chris Wallace kicked off the debate with a "take no prisoners" attitude.  Wallace stuck to the script for the most part and kept the candidates in line.  The "nasty" back and forth zingers between Trump and Hill didn't disappoint.

Trump called Clinton, “a nasty woman,” and Clinton called Trump a “puppet.”  Americans will miss watching the entertaining and controversial exchanges between Trump and Hill.  Yes, we can thank Trump for his unconventional approach to politics.  But, all the fun isn't over just yet.  You can bet the debate will continue online.  Donald does love to lash out during his late night tweet sessions.  Trump isn't the only one tweeting politics.  Twitter has been a major resource for the entire nation during this election.   Numerous famous faces have voiced their opinions via Twitter.  The WANNA has been following the celebrity tweets posted each presidential debate.  The final debate generated some serious anti-Trump celebrity tweets.

WHO ARE THE CELEBS THAT WON'T BE VOTING FOR TRUMP NOVEMBER 8TH? WATCH THIS...

Joss Whedon/YouTube

Joss Whedon/YouTube

It's no surprise that when it comes to politics, the majority of A-listers tend to lean to the left and the 2016 Presidential election is no exception.  Safe to say, the current Presidential race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, is a screenplay no one could have written.  Of course Tinsel Town still has a Conservative following but, several famous Democrats have made it their mission to publicly denounce Trump and stand behind Hillary this election year!  Over the years, Hollywood is known for creating PSA’s that encourage fans to vote.  This year, several stars took the message one step further and flat out revealed why you don't wanna vote for Trump.

The WANNA curated a list of celebs below, who took the time to create PSA’s and "video" messages that share one very clear message, vote for Hillary!

Kathy Griffin

The comedian says “Donald, F*** Off!” in this hilarious new take on a moving Hillary Clinton campaign video.

Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/mrjamesstapes/ http://www.instagram.com/johnraphael12/ Twitter : http://twitter.com/jamesstapes http://twitter.com/johnraphael Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ABritAYank The original version of this campaign ad from Hillary Clinton, titled "Mirrors," shows young women mixed with clips of some of the horrible things Donald Trump has said. This spoof features Kathy Griffin telling the Donald what she thinks of his deplorable behavior.

Aziz Ansari

Actor and comedian Aziz Ansari sarcastically addresses the fact that people seem to “need” celebrity voting ads to actually get out and vote.  On the more serious note, Ansari asserts that Trump “doesn’t believe in climate change” and “hates brown people.”

Robert DeNiro

This is one of the more scathing and direct anti-Trump videos, in which Robert DeNiro calls Trump a number of things, including “pig,” “blatantly stupid,” and says he would like to “punch him in the face.”  This one needs to be seen to be believed.

Hollywood star Robert De Niro came out with this political attack statement in the aftermath of the Access Hollywood leaked tape of Donald Trump's sexy locker room talk with host Billy Bush. In the commercial like remarks he trashed trump. DeNiro expressed opposition and disgust with Trump's character as reflected in the 10 year old hidden mic remarks.

Keegan-Michael Key

Key & Peele star Keegan-Michael Key hilariously “forecasts” a Donald Trump presidency in this video from Joss Whedon.  Key references “smug looks” and “morons” who don’t believe in climate change, an apparent jab at Trump.

Oh the weather outside is frightful... No seriously, it's fucking scary out there... Starring Keegan-Michael Key. http://savetheday.vote/

Joss Whedon Star-Packed “Save the Day” PSA

Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, James Franco, Julianne Moore, and more A-listers appear in this PSA created by Joss Whedon to address the more serious issues facing us this election.  One bit in particular has Don Cheadle emphatically calling out a “racist, abusive coward,” a not-so-subtle prod at Trump.  The celebs also address, “A man whose signature move is firing things.”  They insist that, “Every vote matters,” and jokingly bribe viewers with a Mark Ruffalo “nude scene” in his next movie.

The world's biggest celebrities explain why it is Important that you vote on November 8! Visit: http://www.savetheday.vote to find out how you can register to vote.

Leonardo DiCaprio

In this short but important video, Leonardo DiCaprio, a longtime environmental activist and UN Representative for climate change, indirectly speaks about Trump’s ignorance to climate change.  If Leo can’t convince people to get out and vote, then no one can!
